Good day fellow Art Buffs! It is with great pleasure I introduce you to London based Photographer Jon Cartwright. Jon is a London-based photographer specialising in cityscapes and street scenes. Documenting the capital’s landscape, his pictures represent both London’s public face and its private life. Working in a city of constant change, Jon captures iconic landmarks set against an ever evolving backdrop. He is interested in the way London’s character continues to grow through modern development without ever completely suppressing its ancient history.

First artist Ben Shkolnik. Ben is one of those amazing souls that stick to you like a virus. His passion for photography is evident in his work and we at the gallery are lucky to have found him. I am proud to make him our first!
I first met Ben in London where he was travelling and taking some time off with family and friends. We somehow found our way to a local watering hole. (Funny how that happens) He had a packet of his photos which I took a moment to browse. And now as they say “you know the rest of the story.”
His first 2 works with us speak for them self! “On My Way” is one of those perfect moments. Enjoy!

It was while working as an Art Auctioneer that I came up with an idea to one day run an online Art gallery. I had seen it time and time again, people too intimidated to walk into the gallery or one of my auctions. I have been guilty of it myself over the years. While on holiday in Cornwall this year, I was walking down the arcade and spotted a fantastic work in a window of the local gallery. I stopped dead in my tracks before going in because, I felt that strange pressure some of us may feel when being approached by a sales person. I could not believe my reaction! That’s when I knew that I had to pursue my idea!
I began to set up the gallery the following week. I started to put out feelers for the right kind of pieces to post to the world. I have managed to secure some really great works from artists all over the world. There are going to be many more gems to come! I promise!
